A4 stapled softback with matt card covers. 43pp with two supplements in the form of 1971 singles sided A4 sheet and 1972 double sided A4 sheet. A handy reference resource identifying railway branch lines which have had articles about them in the Railway Magazine or Railway World up to 1972. The lines are arranged in alphabetical order with the author of the article and then which issue of either Railway Magazine or Railway World the article appeared in. Things have changed much since 1972 with articles which have appeared in subsequent quality magazines such as Steam Days, British Railway Journal and BackTrack. The complete Railway Magazine is available online for a small subscription and much other information can be gained from an Internet search. However, the book still provides a useful hard copy reference resource, especially for Railway World which isn't available online. Good clean cndition and no rusty staples.
