12mo. hardcover in olive green cloth with spine stamped in gilt. Everyman's Library no. 716, Third EL printing (first was 1915, then 1917). Illustrated endpapers and decorated double title page. ix (Introduction) 223pp. + 4 pp. essay on Everyman's Library by Ernest Rhys. Generally fine though a bit cocked, prev. own. signature andnotation "Wallace House/ Smith College/ Northampton, Mass/ English 311/ Mr. leider" on the front free endpaper. In the original olive green printed wrapper, very good with toning about the edges and the spine. Dust jacketed copies of these century-old books have become uncommon.
