About the Author

Metta Smith is a retired mental health counselor who devotes her time to marriage education. She and her husband Milt fell in love the night they met fifty-four years ago and married less than a year later. With grace, commitment and work they build their intimate marriage. Through their Marriage Nurturing classes they have taught several hundred couples how to to nurture each other and create a Vision and practice for the ongoing nourishment of the enriched marriage they desire. Metta and Milt reside in Seattle, Washington. They have four grown children and five grandchildren. The are members of Bethany Presbyterian Church where they are part of the Marriage Team for marriage enrichment, mentoring, and encouragement.
