Can James Raker solve the mystery before the homeowners around Lake Hannah end up underwater?

Following Deadly Portfolio: A Killing in Hedge Funds, John J. Hohn offers Breached, a suspenseful, fast-paced sequel.

Detective James Raker reconnects with classmate and Vietnam vet Art Nichols in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Their reunion is interrupted by the murder of a state dam inspector with information implicating developer Vernon Brost in a scheme to defraud the homeowners around Lake Hannah.

Searching for the damning evidence, Brost’s thugs break into Raker’s home and seriously injure his girlfriend, Diane, whose subconscious is forced to wrestle with her troubled childhood.

While Diane struggles to recover from her injuries and painful memories, Nichols fights through his PSTD and joins Raker in his race to thwart Brost’s swindle and bring Diane’s attackers to justice.
