About the Author
We had large dining tables at the inn, and often times guests would be sitting with strangers for their first meal. One of the great ice breakers we used was to have guests tell each other "two truths and a lie" about themselves. It is food for thought and gave them an opportunity to tell strangers something bizarre about themselves.
So, here are my (Glen's) two truths and a lie:
1. I hiked the entire 2,180 miles of Appalachian Trail, from Georgia to Maine.
2. I was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots.
3. I wrote and published TWO e-books in 21 days.
Now you are supposed to guess what one is the lie.
Easy, right?
My lie is that I only hiked 650 miles of the Appalachian Trail, from Georgia to the middle of Virginia. It took about ten weeks (in two trips) to do the mileage, and we had an absolute blast doing it. There's probably (another) pretty funny book in there as well.
So yes, that means that I did indeed write TWO e-books in 21 days. I even wrote a book about it.
And yes, I was also a cheerleader for the Patriots. This was a gazillion years ago before Tom Brady, and our cheering was usually limited to "run-run-drop pass-punt." I was a gymnast (trampoline), and the first Patriots cheerleaders had three corners of girls with big... pom poms, and one corner of gymnasts.

The best thing about being a cheerleader (ok, other than hanging around with fifty hot tomatoes) was we had the BEST "seats" in the house. Each quarter the squads shift corners. So I got to watch every home game from four different on-field perspectives.
Well, this has been all about me since Ann is off shopping. Let me make up two truths and a lie about her.
1. She was a professional ballet dancer in New York City
2. She was graduated from Harvard.
3. She was an Astronaut on the first mission to Mars.
Oops, out of SPACE; not enough room to tell you which one was the lie.
