8vo HB. pp; 139. Lacking ffep and all prelims before title page. Internal hinges loose but still holding, partial separation of binding between pp. 128-9. Overall light toning to text but no stains or marking. Fair in blind-stamped green cloth, lettered (Faded) gilt to spine. Rubbing to extremities, small split to front foot of spine, and a small damaged spot to the bottom margin of the lower board. A very scarce cookery book, which presented the lavish country-house 'breakfasts' of the aristocracy as being possible to those of more modest means. WorldCat / COPAC gives only 12 copies worldwide.
