Breakfast: A Moment an Experience a Lesson (Paperback or Softback)

Life isn't about the tangibles--the things we own or the things we can buy. Instead, life is about moments, experiences, and lessons wrapped in memory. In a world of experiences and not things, imperfections and insecurities can be celebrated as unique. Such revelations occurred to poet Christopher Townsend during times of reflection in his day-to-day life.

Breakfast evokes early morning energy and imagery to convey timeless truths and muse about the nature of love. Townsend creates lush settings using vivid imagery and sensual subjects, pulling readers into enjoyment and contemplation. Life, like breakfast, is best served with those who sit and enjoy the stillness of the morning, a muffin complimented by a cup of coffee, and the thoughts of things to come.

As a quintessential renaissance man, writing provides Townsend with the platform for reflection, expression, and direction through poetry and prose. Words constructed together, loosely or prescriptively, provide for us the conduit to enjoy life and share in a moment. Breakfast is the beginning of every day and sets the stage for wonder. Breakfast is served! Enjoy.
