About the Author

Judith Couchman is the owner of Judith & Company and works full-time as an author and speaker. She is the author/compiler of twenty-three books, including A Garden's Promise, His Gentle Voice, The Woman Behind the Mirror, Shaping a Woman's Soul and Designing a Woman's Life. Before starting her own company, she was the founding editor-in-chief of Clarity, a national magazine for Christian and spiritually seeking women.

With more than twenty years in the publishing industry, Judith has served as director of product development for NavPress periodicals, director of communications for The Navigators, editor of Sunday Digest and managing editor of Christian Life. She has worked as a public relations practitioner, a freelance reporter and a high school journalism teacher. In addition, she has earned an M.A. in journalism and a B.S. in education.

Judith has received national awards for her work in religious publishing, corporate communications, and secondary education, and speaks to women's and professional groups around the country. She lives in Colorado.
