Breaking Out of Plastic Prison: A 10-Step Program to Financial Freedom

"Sticking to a budget brings freedom not slavery", writes James Dean, who gives financial advice in this practical guide to financial freedom. If you're concerned about managing your money in a biblical way, then Breaking Out of Plastic Prison is for you!.

Breaking Out Of Plastic Prison provides candid, practical, encouraging advice for anyone mired down with credit card debt. As Jesus once said, you cannot serve both God and Mammon. Breaking Out Of Plastic Prison deals with building a monthly budget, tracking expenses, buying a car, paying off a mortgage, saving for college and retirement, and more. It gives practical answers to questions about credit cards, credit counseling services, consolidation loans, and the thorny issue of bankruptcy as an option for a Christian. Every economic decision we make as Christians has an emotional and spiritual aspect which affects us, our participation in the Christian community, and with the secular world that surrounds us. Breaking Out Of Plastic Prison is a useful, workable tool for anyone seeking freedom in their financial life, and an emancipation from debt with its chronic and pernicious stress upon our spiritual life. The Christian prayer of "deliver us from evil" also applies to debt. -- Midwest Book Review
