Breaking Sin's Grasp: Your Temptation Doesn't Define You

Breaking Sin's Grasp: A Journey from Darkness to Freedom

Every man faces his own battles. In "Breaking Sin's Grasp," Jim Domen shares his deeply personal story of transformation and redemption. After spending five years in the gay lifestyle, trapped in an abusive relationship, he walked away in the summer of 2002 and returned to Jesus. For over twenty years, he has not physically acted on his old same-sex attractions, and though he sometimes struggles against these desires, the divine power of God's Spirit, the truth of His Word, and the support of godly voices have enabled him to walk in freedom.

Many in the secular world might label his story a "mistake." They cannot fathom how someone genuinely gay could become so "new in Christ" that he now enjoys a rich and wonderful marriage with his wife, Amanda. But this is the marvel of his testimony: God is greater than the urges that once held him captive. His mission is simple: to urge men to choose life. The power that broke sin's grasp in his life is not his own-it is the power of God.

This book is not just about Jim's journey but about the journeys of countless others he's helped find freedom. Whether you're a young man battling with secret sins or an older man dealing with public shame, the principles of freedom remain the same. Through dramatic stories of transformation and honest, vulnerable sharing, "Breaking Sin's Grasp" offers hope and practical steps for anyone caught in a cycle of habitual sin.

Let this book guide you to the freedom and life that only God can offer. It's time to understand what's holding you back and take the first step toward healing. Do you want to be healed?
