Breathe

BREATHE: NEW LIFE is a sacred invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and recover your rhythm. Written as a daily meditation guide, this book offers 12 months of reflection rooted in Scripture, ancestral wisdom, and the lived experience of Black faith and healing. From "Speak Over Your Life" in January to "All Things Have Become New" in December, each month provides a spiritual theme and daily entry that encourages restoration, justice, and transformation.

This is not just a devotional-it's a prophetic rhythm, a daily altar, and a practical tool for walking with God through real life. Designed for pastors, worshippers, movement builders, and everyday believers, BREATHE: NEW LIFE brings together theological insight, cultural honesty, and soul-deep encouragement.

Whether you're in a season of waiting, transition, grief, or rebirth, these pages will help you inhale peace, exhale struggle, and reclaim the breath of God already moving through you.

William Mathis, J.D., M.Div. is a pastor, theologian, and spiritual leader committed to the liberation, healing, and flourishing of Black communities. As the shepherd of the Springs of Life-Giving Water Church, he weaves together the prophetic and the pastoral, tradition and innovation, rooted in the legacy of the Black church and the wisdom of the African Diaspora. His work centers on discipleship, dignity, and divine presence in everyday life. BREATHE: NEW LIFE is his first published devotional, written as a sacred companion for those seeking breath, justice, and spiritual restoration.
