In his new novella "On the Bridge of St. Angelo," the author skillfully blends a romantic drama with a spy thriller. At the heart of the plot is a simple family from New York City who decide to spend their vacation in Italy. During their short trip, they come across enough comedy and tragedy to fill an entire lifetime. The smooth narrative gives way to unpredictable twists, leaving the reader curious of what will happen on the next page or how the characters will act. The events take place in our turbulent and difficult times of political upheavals and wars.
