The Bridgehampton Road Races were first held on public roads from 1915 to 1921, with the races revived again starting in 1949. They were held on public roads until 1953, when a crash and death caused the state of New York to ban road racing. The Bridgehampton Road Races Corporation was then formed, creating a private road circuit where races were held again, starting in 1957. This program is presumably for some of the first of the revived road racing, and features biographies of the various drivers, as well as photos and descriptions of the cars being used in the races. Many ads, etc., also present. GOOD+ condition. Minor fading, toning and soiling. Light scuffing and wrinkling.
