Gupta has written Biblical commentaries on Colossians, Philippians, and 1-2 Thessalonians, as well as other books on Paul. Gupta blogs at patheos.com/blogs/cruxsola. MARTHA BYRNE VAN HOUTEN graduated from Portland Seminary in 2019 with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) with a specialization in Biblical studies. Her primary interests are in Pauline studies and creating scripture studies that bridge the gap between academic scholarship and spiritual formation.
