About the Author: Brian Conroy is the author of two collections of humorous essays entitled, You Don't Hear Me Complaining and I'm Just Sayin'; Stepping Stones, a book of Buddhist parables; Lotus Petals, a collection of Buddhist wisdom tales; and Shooting Stars and Blazing Guitars, a book of essays on music and musicians. For thirty-five years he taught theatre and public speaking in public schools, and storytelling at San Jose State University. He is also the author of two children's books: Prince Dighavu and Bright Moon.
