We all have childhood memories. The dates, places, sights, and sounds may have been different but the events we experienced helped to shape who we are today. The author takes you back to a time and place which may be unfamiliar to those younger readers and to those who didn't grow up in a rural setting. If you have ever wondered what it must've been like to grow up without the internet, cell phones, and video games, then this book is for you. Aging Babyboomers who had a "country upbringing" will enjoy a bit of nostalgia as they recall similar situations from their own childhood.
"Bristol Boy" will delight both young and old with stories from the 1960s in southwest Virginia.
