The set includes: About Britain No. 1 - 'West Country', A New Guidebook with a Portrait by Geoffrey Grigson About Britain No. 3 - 'Home Counties', A New Guidebook with a Portrait by R. S. R. Fitter About Britain No. 11 - 'Lowlands of Scotland', A New Guidebook with a Portrait by John R. Allan About Britain No. 13 - 'Northern Ireland', A New Guidebook with a Portrait by Estyn Evans This is four volumes from the About Britain series. The full set contains thirteen volumes and was published to commemorate the Festival of Britain. Illustrated with maps and photos. Four hardbound volumes with pictorial paper covered boards with unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, smart. There is some mild wear to the extremities including bumping to the top and tail of the spines. Dustwrapper are smart. The Westcountry dustwrapper has a small closed tear to the bottom of the spine. The Home Counties dustwrapper is slightly spotted and has two tears with loss to the top and bottom of the spine. There is also a closed tear to the bottom of the front cover. The Northern Ireland dustwrapper has a small tear with loss to the top of the spine and a closed tear to the edge of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally clean and bright with the occasional handling mark and odd spot. Very Good.
