pages 48, 19 full page colour illustrations of various Home Guard soldiers, eqach illustration has name of home guard or description. Foreword by Sir James Grigg. Red boards with gilt lettering to spine, boards have faded along spine edge and 1/2" of left side of front cover. Lower corner and side of front board has been affected by damp and cloth has bubbled and faded, Colour has run into the inside of the cover, but not on the front free end paper. 16 of the pages have been affected by insects, but none of the colour illustrations. Name inside front cover.
