Presumed 1st ed. Large 8vo. Bound in marble boards with a wide green leather spine with the title in gilt written vertically. The leather on the actual spine has faded & turned brown.The ep's & pastes are also marbled. viii,32pp. Illus b & w plates. Based on a series of broadcasts on Sundays 14 January - 18 February 1934. Subjects covered were 14 centuries of Design & Craftsmanship; Ways of Building: Styles of Architecture; Sculpture & Drawing; Flat Decorations; Painting; Portraiture & Landscape; Some Crafts. A little foxing & yellowing but generally VG.
