British Monumental Inscriptions V1 (1859)

British Monumental Inscriptions V1 (1859) is a book written by Edwin Roffe that provides a comprehensive collection of inscriptions found on monuments and tombstones in various parts of Great Britain. The book is divided into chapters, each covering a different region of the country, and includes detailed descriptions of the inscriptions, as well as notes on the individuals or families to whom the monuments belong. The book is a valuable resource for genealogists and historians interested in tracing their family history or studying the social and cultural history of Great Britain. The first volume of the series was published in 1859 and remains a popular reference work to this day. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
