8vo, pp xi, [1], 302, [20], [2, adverts], original sheep, spine with raised bands and red label, joints cracked but holding on cords, internally sound and clean, TENTH EDITION, revised by W Burbidge, schoolmaster of Salisbury, from Fenning's original text of 1754. The work became a popular tutor for teaching business and trades to boys, with additional material added later for instruction in book-keeping. Copies are scarce in complete original state, this tenth printing recorded only in Oberlin College copy, USA.
