Broken Shells: A Perfektly Imperfekt Journey through Cancer, Leadership and Love

Jon and Lindsey Acton take the reader on a journey through Jon's cancer diagnosis while he served as a school superintendent during a global pandemic. Join them as they chronicle the experience of Jon's cancer battle from the perspective of both the patient and the caregiver. Jon's cancer battle was also taking place as he was learning some hard lessons about being a school administrator, and Lindsey was working as a full-time classroom teacher. Jon and Lindsey discuss what it was like to learn about themselves, about their marriage, about parenthood, and about their careers after facing the near-destruction of their family and their careers. It is a story of "why nots" and a story of Perfekt Imperfektion.
