Synopsis
Mark Hunter LaVigne, best-selling author of The Broken Ukulele, returns with another tale of adventure in Ontario's Algonquin Park. Mark, best friend Larry, and a troupe of family members embark on a canoe trip in search of the spirit of famous painter Tom Thomson --- not to mention his ghost --- and a "broken" turtle first encountered on a canoe trip many years earlier. Along the way they encounter wind, rain, lightning, leeches, earworms, the aforementioned turtle, and many memories of canoe trips past. The result is a tale at once humorous, charming, and heartwarming.
