Craig Mayeux was born in Louisiana. Brothers Forever: An Orphan Story was inspired by the life of his grandfather, George Leary, who was an actual “orphan train” rider. Mayeux now lives with his wife, Donna, in Missouri. His roots, however, are still deep in the bayou country of Louisiana.
