Brown on Resolution

Brown on Resolution by C.S. Forester is a naval adventure novel set during World War I. It follows Albert Brown, a determined and resourceful British sailor born to a single mother and raised with strong values.

After his ship is sunk, Brown ends up stranded on a remote Pacific island where he discovers a German warship making repairs. Armed with only a rifle, Brown wages a one-man guerrilla campaign to delay the enemy long enough for British forces to catch up. His bravery and sacrifice ultimately help turn the tide of the naval pursuit.

The novel is a tribute to quiet heroism, patriotism, and the power of individual action in wartime.
