Bruce the Bionic Bear

Bruce is the happiest, friendliest bear in the whole world, he has famous bionic boots that can make him run faster and jump higher than any other bear... These bionic boots take him on many adventures... This one being The Pushover Pirate of cornflake falls.... He share his many adventures with his best pal Sydney, a witchetti grub from Australia, as well as being Bruce's best friend he guards the bionic boots!

As well as cartoonist for several major Fleet Street tabloid papers, I am creator of children's greats such as Family Ness, Jimbo and the Jet Set, and Penny Crayon, in both book and film formats. I now reside in southern Spain where I enjoy life relaxing by the coast and using my free time to experiment with paintings in all form of styles. I came to live in Spain in the year 2000 to retire and escape the grey skies and crowded streets of London...I wanted to forget cartooning and instead of the pen, turn to a brush with paint and canvas....Besides, the lights had gone out on my beloved Fleet Street. When you live in Spain as I now do you soon realise why they can boast of so many great and famous artists...The light here is just fantastic, the sun shines for ever and if you use acrylic paint as I do...it almost dries as the brush hits the canvas...I'm sure, had Jackson Pollack lived here with his drip style of painting he could have dripped one every ten or twenty minutes....However, I now experiment in every style imaginable with a hope to find one of my own...as a cartoonist I had a recognisable style of drawing...so now I search for my very own painting style...In the words of the late great Pablo Picasso..."In Art. If there is something to be stolen, I steal it" Last year I began on a new venture, bringing my books to the eBook genre, I now have many of my 'How to' books for budding cartoonists, or just someone who wants to learn to draw. These are in both English and Spanish. Also many children's books, a couple of old stories and lots of new ones! Also for over 18's a whole library full of short stories is now emerging, to add to the many comic strip books, such as Condomania & Hard Times.
