Bryce, Higbee and J. B. Higbee Glass

Includes patterns made by the early Bryce Brothers, Bryce, Higbee and J B Higbee. The evolution of these companys is researched.

Lola and Wayne Higby's obsession with Higbee glass started when they received several pieces from a relative. Immediately hooked, they visited antiques shops almost every week until they had collected so much Bryce, Higbee and J. B. Higbee glass that it overflowed several display cabinets. Traveling across the country to visit the now-defunct factories, studying family genealogies, and researching the companies' history, Lola and Wayne have fast become some of the few experts knowledgeable on this topic. The idea came to them to write a book so that other Higbee glass collectors could benefit from their research, and finally have definitive information on Bryce and Higbee wares.
