About the Authors

Christie Rains lives in London, Ontario with her family. This is her first children's book, which was inspired by a conversation with her four-year-old daughter as she made bubble pies in the bath. Christie loves learning from books and new experiences but especially from her three kids, whom she has the pleasure of hanging out with every day. Nothing makes her happier than seeing others pursue the things they love.

Danielle Hartgers started her career as a graphic designer who dabbled in illustration, but she flipped that equation to pursue her love of drawing. Now, she has her own online shop where she sells her art in to other graphic designers. Danielle's love for whimsical characters and detailed, bold patterns are evident in Bubblegum Pie, her first illustrated children's book.
