About the Authors

Amy has been a cat lover her entire life, and as a former teacher, she has always loved children's books. These two passions inspired her to write the Buddy series. She has been fostering kittens for over seven years, caring for almost 200 of them, in addition to the 17 personal cats she has loved over the years. As the owner of The Meow Mob, she stays busy writing books, designing merchandise, and sewing and crocheting cat toys and mats.

Andrew never thought he would be a cat dad. He was reluctant to get the first kitten that Amy wanted so much, but now, after over twenty years of cats and kittens in the house, he has fully embraced the title. Alongside his cat dad duties, he has worked for Blue Yonder for over 25 years. He feels fortunate that they support volunteerism by giving approved time off and schedule flexibility, allowing him to give back to the community.
