Oh No! There's a Bug on My Rug

Imagination runs wild in this whimsical, bedtime adventure!

It's bedtime, and Bella is all set to snuggle in for the night-until she spots something on her rug. Is it a bug? A huge, sticky, slimy, 9-legged, 16-eyed creature just waiting to crawl up and eat her pug?! Bella's imagination takes over as she pictures the scariest, most ridiculous bug imaginable.

But what's even scarier than seeing a giant bug? Not knowing whether you really saw anything at all! With all the strange sounds and shadows in the dark, Bella must face her fears and figure out what's lurking beneath her bed (or in this case, on her rug). Is it a bug, or is it just her imagination running wild?

Oh No! There's a Bug on My Rug is a charming, rhyming bedtime story that celebrates the playful nature of childhood imagination. With humorous illustrations and a heartwarming ending, young readers will learn about the everyday bugs that share our world-and maybe even find a little bravery along the way. Perfect for children under 7, this story is a fun bedtime read for parents, grandparents, and caregivers, complete with an educational glossary of real bugs at the end.

Adam Ellison writes the kind of bedtime stories that make kids giggle, parents smile, and pets wonder what's going on. Inspired by the silly rhymes he made up for his own children when they were "supposed" to be winding down for sleep, Adam created the Oh No! series to turn ordinary moments into laugh-out-loud adventures. When he's not writing, you can find him chauffeuring his kids to soccer, dance, swim lessons, the doctor, Urgent Care, or anywhere that offers snacks - sometimes all in the same afternoon.
