In this book, I have combined the ancient ritual, called Sumbel and the Anglo-Norse mindset with modern goal setting and habit formation research, into a means to empower goals and build communities of people dedicated to improving their lives. Learn the key characteristics for developing the mindset of the ancient North European tribes; the Angles and the Norse. In adopting the growth mindset of these ancient tribes, you will become more resilient, anti-fragile, adaptable and capable of dealing with the challenges of life. Whether, like the ancients, that involves sailing across oceans in longboats or fending off a raid. Or dealing with the pressures of modern day life such as meeting work deadlines, starting a business, completing your degree, or just raising a family. An Anglo-Norse mindset will help you face life on your own terms. The ritual of Sumbel is explained in detail. Exploring who, what, when and how Sumbel should be performed. You will learn how Sumbel will add the power of ritual to your goal setting to further improve your chances of completing your goals. Find out how Sumbel can help you create bonds of friendship and create small intentional support groups dedicated to the principles of the Anglo-Norse mindset and successfully achieving your goals. By using the information in this book, you will be able to succeed in building a worthy life, a life that will be remembered by friends and family. Every life lived well is a life of worth and honour.
