A very good undated hardcover, the 4th edition which must have been printed before the 1929 5th edition, in clean red boards bumped/rubbed to the spine ends corners, no writing or stamps, clean pages in an about good bright dustwrapper creased/rubbed to the edges with several small closed tears and chips to the spine head supplied in a new removable archival sleeve. Includes integral bookmark. A very heavy book of over 1,705 pages, 926 diagrams and 316 black and white photographs. Carefully packaged and despatched within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland.
