The Builder's Prayer

After years of silence and loss, Eli Martin returns to an empty lot where his brother once died-a place he swore never to see again. With only a hammer, a few salvaged timbers, and a quiet prayer, he begins to build a small chapel. As the walls rise, so do the lives around him: a widow searching for peace, a lost soul seeking purpose, and even an adversary determined to see the chapel torn down. The Builder's Prayer is a tender, inspirational story about redemption, faith, and the power of a single act of creation to rebuild more than walls-it rebuilds hope. 12,000 words.
