Building Leadership Character is the coach's version of the Kingdom Sports leadership building character series. This bible study series is designed to help coaches at every level integrate their faith with their sport. This character series for coaches will show coaches how to have the right attitudes and behavior in sports. Lessons include: Loyalty Guarding the Heart Purposeful Confidence Poise There are a total of 12 lessons per book and three books within the series. There's also an athletes version as well.
Gordon Thiessen is a publisher, author, photographer and speaker. He has published more than one hundred books on sports and competition. He is the author of Cross Training Manual, Headline Sports Devotions, Beyond the Headlines and two new books Lessons from Nebraska Football and Peak Performance. He serves with the Nebraska Fellowship of Christian Athletes as the Director of Training and Resources. Rod Handley is the former Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). He is currently the Founder and President of Character That Counts, a ministry founded in July 2000. He is a popular retreat and banquet speaker. Rod has published nineteen books, including, Character That Counts: Who's Counting Yours? which details how to begin the process of being accountable to one another. Rod and his wife Janna live in Lee's Summit, MO, and they have four children. Josh Thiessen is a graduate of The Master's Seminary. From 2007-2009 Josh served as a pastoral assistant at Grace Community Church in Los Angeles, CA while finishing his M.Div and Th.M. Currently he serves as the pastor at Providence Bible Church in Omaha.
