The Building Regulations: Explained and Illustrated provides a straightforward, well illustrated guide to building control in England and Wales.

The Eleventh Edition has been updated and revised to include:

* revisions to Part K 'Protection from falling, collision and impact' dealing with regulations on windows, skylights, ventilators and sliding or powered doors and gates

* new requirements of Part N 'Glazing' on safe operation and access for cleaning for windows, skylights and ventilators

* new regulations under Part M extending accessibility requirements for disabled people to dwellings

* amendments to the Approved Document to support Regulation 7 on materials and workmanship.
