About the Authors:
Reconocido unánimemente como el cocinero más influyente de las últimas décadas, FERRAN ADRIÀ (L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, 1962) empezó a trabajar en 1984 en elBulli, donde pronto se convirtió en jefe de cocina. A partir de 1987, su propuesta culinaria cada vez más radical fue transformando el paradigma de la cocina contemporánea, una realidad que le ha valido los máximos reconocimientos a nivel internacional, tanto a él como a elBulli. Su última revolución ha consistido en crear elBullifoundation que aboga por la divulgación técnica, científica y cultural de la cocina.
ALBERT ADRIÀ (L'Hospitalet del Llobregat, 1969) Está considerado una de las personas más influyentes en el mundo de la gastronomía y, junto con sus restaurantes, ha recibido los más prestigisos premios y distinciones en esta disciplina cultural. Trabajó en la cocina de elBulli entre 1985 y 2008. En 2013, entró a formar parte del patronato de elBulllifoundation. En 2006 inauguró en Barcelona el Inopia Classic Bar, promotor de la alta gastronomia prêt à porter y pionero del concepto "gastrobar". Entre 2011 y 2017 abrió un total de 7 restaurantes (41º Experience, Tickets, Pakta, Bodega 1900, Niño Viejo, Hoja Santa y Enigma) dentro del proyecto global que reúne diferentes conceptos gastronómicos bajo el nombre de elBarri. Después de firmar una alianza creativa, de la mano de Ferran Adrià, con Le Cirque du Soleil para el proyecto Heart, en Ibiza, abrió 50 Days by Albert Adrià, en Londres, un restaurante pop-up en el Hotel 5* GL Café Royal, que más tarde se convirtió en Cakes <(>&<)> Bubbles, un restaurante dulce especializado en pastelería y vinos espumosos.

Paperback. Condition: Very Good. Text in Spanish. Boards very good, lightly edgeworn, bumped to spine tips. Spine square. Binding sound. Small glue stains to top of textblock, near spine. Heavy bump to bottom of textblock from about page 200-270, resulting in creasing to bottom and fore-edge margins of these pages, though without effect on text. Accordion fold-out present, clean and unmarked with only light edgewear. In slipcase with light general edgewear, bumping to corners, with tiny points of fraying to corners of the opening side. Original elBulli sticker and bardcode sticker still adhered to one side of slipcase; sticker has started to peel, but has not been removed as a previous owner's attempt began to scar the slipcase beneath (this is a tiny area, about a square quarter-inch).
