"Grampie" who is a fisherman, enjoyed reading this book to his grandchildren. * The positive characteristic of this book is that it teaches a child their ABC's while it tells a story about a little boys boating trip with his parents. * This is a unique addition to children's literature. I have never seen another book that offers young children an introduction into the world of boating and boating terms. We are a family on the lake every weekend in the summer and this was a perfect addition to our library for our young daughter. We also liked that this book can be read in a simplified format with just the letter and word for very young children and with the longer definitions for older children.
