On each counting page, children follow the colorful number path, counting up the left side from 50 to collect an acorn and then counting backward down the right side to put it in Burly’s basket.

Children can begin by following the left side of the path only. As their confidence grows, they can add backward counting and complete the full path.

Created for Pre-K, kindergarten, early elementary, and homeschool children who are ready to count beyond 50, this classroom edition can be used with the whole class, in small groups, or with individual children. One child can count up the path while another counts backward, allowing everyone to participate and count aloud together.
