The eerie case stirs up trauma Kolsfina thought was long behind him as he navigates the widening net of suspicious characters and their troubling lives leading up to the disappearance of 576. As the case gains national attention, the citizens of Frostburg give in to their frustration and unrest due to the surmounting negligence and lack of answers. Miguel Cortez, one of the fathers of the missing students, is absolutely convinced of Chaney’s guilt and is increasingly hell-bent on proving it by any means necessary.
