Every Bush is Burning: A Practical Theology for Biblical Integration

What makes Christian education Christian? What does success look like for the Christian teacher? Kelly Hayes answers those questions by providing a theological and practical vision for the necessary work of biblical integration. In helping instructors become "incarnational, intentional instigators," he provides biblical support for the pastoral role of the teacher along with practical tools on the proper use of Scripture, integrated unit/lesson planning, the role of assessment, setting an example, and much more. Teachers looking to serve Christ more effectively in the classroom will be well served by the thoughtful and challenging material presented here.

Kelly Hayes is a teacher and writer with experience working with all ages in school and church environments.
