No title page (as issued), so no particulars of publisher and date (1940s). Marcie Muir's bibliography mentions the same omission. Colour pictorial boards, small section peeled on lower front, corners slightly bumped, red cloth spine, illustrated in colour & mono (signed J.E. - JEAN ELDER?), paper covering at endpapers a little split, vg+. folio, (25pp). A lovely book, clearly a contemporary of the Peg Maltby picture books. Seller Inventory # 10E393
