With credits including Tony Award-winning Broadway musicals, television, national tours, opera, concerts, regional theater, summer stock, casinos, industrials, theme parks, and cruise ships, Cates has experienced the incredible journey of what it means to be a working artist firsthand. Cates resides in New York City and teaches on the faculty of Pace University, Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway, and as a guest artist, master teacher and lecturer for organizations around the world.
