Susan loved her life on the farm. In addition to working the land, her family raised cattle and chickens. Life wasn't easy, but they all worked together to prosper the best they could. Because of the process, butter-making day was a special event on the farm, and the entire family participated. Butter-Making Day is a "how-to" book that shows the process of making butter, from milking the cow to eating the finished product. As a special bonus, a simple recipe for making your own butter is included. It is easy and fun for all ages!
