Apart from purely lepidopterological papers and books, publications belonging to other scientific disciplines relevant to the study of butterflies are also included, as well as some most significant reference works on the related extra European geographical areas. A comprehensive subject index (systematic, by country, by key word) serves as a guide to significant papers and books listed under authors.
