Butterflies (Paperback or Softback)

Enter the high-stakes world of Zoe Kim, an intrepid journalist navigating the shadowed streets near Seoul. When she begins investigating a local sex trafficking ring, a shocking turn of events propels her into a dangerous pursuit of truth and justice.

As Zoe digs deeper, she faces more than professional risk. A traumatic, life-threatening encounter forces her to confront questions about her identity and purpose. Undeterred, she continues her investigation against her chief editor’s orders, tracing the operation from South Korea to Los Angeles and across Asia. Sidelined at work and driven by obsession, Zoe sacrifices her relationship and distances herself from those closest to her, determined to expose a vast international trafficking network.

Her investigation uncovers a devastating family secret that links her own past to historic atrocities and present-day crimes. In a final confrontation with a powerful crime boss, Zoe must face the weight of history and fight not only for justice, but for personal and generational healing.

Butterflies is a gripping, emotionally charged thriller about courage, identity, and the cost of pursuing the truth. It is a story of resilience and love that crosses borders and reveals the strength of the human spirit.
