About the Author

All seven authors of "Through Button Eyes" are members of Placer Gold Writers, a small writing group that meets in various beautiful California Gold Rush communities dotting the lush Sierra foothills. The majority of Placer Gold Writers members are typical working individuals writing during their non-working hours. Creating these stories included typing away into the wee hours of the night and jotting down notes on napkins during lunch breaks. Even voice recorded memos in smart phone apps were used between the occasional supportive waves to their children at soccer practices. Regardless of the challenges, those haphazard ideas developed into some pretty amazing stories.
