Why isn't there a word for collectors of buttons, I wonder? The existence of this book, and others listed in the Bibliography, suggest that the group of people indulging in this activity is large enough to deserve a special collective noun. And there's a National Button Society and a British Button Society to support them. Anyway, this book provides a well-illustrated guide for the button collector. A fine copy in near fine dust jacket.
