About the Author
At the age of 23, shortly after earning degrees in economics and geology from Trinity University, David Weekley founded David Weekley Homes in 1976. His company builds in 14 cities from Colorado to the Carolinas, and is the second-largest, privately-owned homebuilder in America.
Professional Builder magazine and Builder magazine have named David Weekley Homes "National Builder of the Year" and "America's Best Builder" respectively. The company is on Fortune's magazine's list of "The Top 100 Companies To Work For." Mr. Weekley lives in Houston, Texas with his wifek, Bonnie, and their three children.
