Contains a list of Roman Emperors from Constantine I to Constantine XI; a Bibliographical Note; and Index. Third printing [1948], originally published in 1933. An historical outline of the principal events in the Orientalized Graeco-Roman Empire of Eastern Roman Empire, from A.D. 300 to A.D. 1453 by the author of the definitive history of the Crusades. No previous ownership marks. No underlining or highlighting to text. Book is clean, square, tight and unmarked, with mild toning to page edges and some incidental creasing to some pages at fore-edges. Dust-jacket sunned to brown on spine and with small tears at tips and joints, but complete. A nice copy of an hard to source edition in scarce dust-jacket. Very good in a good dust-jacket.
