9 Novembre 1989, Berlino. Il Muro viene assaltato da una valanga di persone, per lo pi� giovani che ballano, ridono e picconano il cemento con ferocia e determinazione. Tra di loro ci sono due donne italiane, la giornalista Rosella Simone e la fotografa Simonetta Massaia Lamberti. Da sei mesi sono in viaggio lungo la Cortina di ferro e stanno testimoniando in diretta un cambio storico epocale, il crollo dell'Europa dell'Est. Due donne curiose che, mentre tramonta il dualismo che aveva organizzato il mondo dopo la seconda guerra mondiale (da una parte il capitalismo dall'altra il socialismo reale), si interrogano sul futuro.
